How to choose a WordPress theme? (2020 Guide)

We buy a domain and hosting. Install WordPress. Explore thousands of WordPress themes. Check hundreds of demos of themes. And finally, select a theme that we think will look good on our website. Then a few weeks pass. Just so that we realize that this is not the topic we are looking for. Sometimes the theme doesn't look like it. Other times, it doesn't have the functionality. Then we start the process again and start looking for a new topic. This can quickly become frustrating for experienced WordPress users, let alone beginners. It is a great waste of time.
